music feature Hitomi Kageyama aka DJ eYe is up!
she spins the most awesome hiphop! and not the typical top 40 type of hiphop. she spins all the greats from the 90’s and a ton of other greats you wouldn’t normally hear at a typical jam. she’s one of those DJ’s that will make you want to stay regardless of how weird the crowd is, how dirty the place is, or if you told yourself you were going to leave early that night haha. i originally met her when she was spinning at Augusta House and new i wanted to feature her after i talked to her after her set.
she invited me to her home while she’s staying in Toronto. she’s actually going back to Japan in March so be sure to make it out when she spins. she does plan to move to Toronto though so that’s great for us!
